Jivdaya Charitable Trust, an NGO, is dedicated to helping stray animals and birds, free of charge. The objective of the Trust is to reduce the pain and suffering of speechless animals who have been injured and help them live a normal life. Our hospital is situated inside the Ahmedabad Panjrapole Campus, Ambawadi, and was set up in August 2007. We treat more than 55000 animals and birds in a year.
Jivdaya Charitable Trust shelter is spread in an area of 1350 sq. meter. We have 3 Mobile Ambulance Vans, 2 separate Operation Theatres for Animals and Birds. The treatment is provided as per International Standards with our State of Art hospital facilities like ventilator machine, gas anesthesia machine, x-ray machine, pathology lab facility, central oxygen system, electric drill for better orthopedic surgery, different sizes of implants, multipara monitor.
We provide services throughout the week with the help of our team of 40 dedicated staff including 5 experienced and qualified veterinarians.
We also help the animals and birds affected during natural calamities. Special Camps are organized at the shelter during Uttarayan to save the injured Birds. Doctors and Surgeons from different parts of India and abroad provide best treatment and help to save the lives of thousands of Birds in Ahmedabad.
Work of the Doctors at JCT has been recognized at National level at the National Veterinarian Surgeons Conference held at Anand Veterinary College in the year 2012. Two of our doctors who had participated achieved 1st and 2nd award for their surgery done at JCT.
The organization is recognized by AWBI and the donation to the trust is exempted under Income tax section 80g.
